Stay home if…
Fever, diarrhea, vomiting, a continuous cough, or an unexplained rash in the last 24 hours. If you are on the fence, call the provider. They would rather talk than have a miserable child on the rug.
Please tell them at least an hour before the usual arrival. If symptoms start there, they will call you for pickup.
Medicine
New York State rules for many group family programs: providers do not give routine medications. Time them at home when you can. Emergencies are different — then they follow Poison Control or EMS.
