When to keep them home

Fever, tummy bugs, coughs — a clear line so the whole group stays well.

Children playing together — wellness keeps the group whole

Stay home if…

Fever, diarrhea, vomiting, a continuous cough, or an unexplained rash in the last 24 hours. If you are on the fence, call me. I would rather talk than have a miserable child on the rug.

Please tell me at least an hour before their usual arrival. If symptoms start here, I call you for pickup.

Medicine

New York State rules for our program: I do not give routine medications. Time them at home when you can. Emergencies are different — then we follow Poison Control or EMS.

This is how a small home stays open for everyone.
