Notes for Pelham Bay
Childcare near Pelham Bay, Bronx
Pelham Bay families looking for a small licensed home — not a large center — are a short ride from two group family day cares on Ohm Avenue in Country Club.
From Middletown Road, Buhre Avenue, or the streets around the 6 train, drop-off into Country Club is a short weekday trip. Two licensed homes there: My Piccolo Mondo Child Care at 1466 Ohm Ave and Maria’s Piccolo Mondo at 1601 Ohm Ave, Bronx 10465.
Lucia’s house takes infants through preschool. Maria’s house is the sister infant-and-toddler program. Both are licensed group family day cares. This is neighborhood information, not a ranking — tour, then decide.
Call (914) 755-2107 for My Piccolo Mondo, or (347) 601-6548 for Maria. Check both licenses on the NY OCFS child care search.
